After final exams our teacher invited us to her garden house. In Norway there are many "kolonihage(r)" :-). It is private area of gardens with these tiny "doll houses". Some of the colonies are nearly in the centre of Oslo. Norwegians spend there their summer days, somebody stays there only for weekends. Some people even live there. It is not easy to buy such a house. Man can either inherit it from his relative or you must wait for a long time on a long waiting list. Kate waited for 5 years to get her house.
If you enter the kolonihage, you start feeling like in a fairytale. Everything is tiny and cute and colourfull. Especially in this late spring time. Blooming fruit trees.
Weather was lovely so we were outside, grilling, talking.
It was an amazing day with people I really like :-).
